This year we’re hosting the EGCC long drivers competition for the second time this year. Local players will get the opportunity to compete alongside professional players, whose main talent is the ability to hit the ball over 300m a daily basis. The Finals to take place on 20 May and we also expect plenty of spectators – bring your friends and come along on Saturday to cheer your favourites!

In addition to the pro players we’re also organizing an amateur contest in which specific categories are juniors, women and seniors (55 years + men).

The participation fee is 35€ for amateurs (men, women, and seniors), juniors 25 € and 170 € for professionals. The Long Drivers competition is not a golf tournament – and so amateur status rules do not apply. So, a person can choose whether to participate in the Open class with the pros or as an ameteur. Amateurs play for cups and high rollers can win cool hard cash.

The Long Drivers Estonian stage is the second stage of European Tour season, the first was held on the first weekend of May in Denmark, Silkeborg Golf Club. Matt Nicole (ENG) was crowned the winner with a 376 Yard (344m) drive.

Our 2015. winner celebrated his victory at the EGCC Sea Course by jumping into the pond at the first hole, which can be viewed here.
