The Estonian Golf & Country Club stroke play championship, sponsored by Avis, will be held on 23-24 July. All EGCC members with a HCP below 28 are welcome to attend.

This year, the championship has a twist: we will be playing  18 holes on both of our courses over two days. On the first day, the competition rounds will be played on the Stone Course, over 2 x 9 holes. On day two, the Sea Course will  be played over 18 holes. On both days, the Jõelähtme Da Vinci Golf Restaurant opens at 7:00 a.m., and starts from the first tee commence at 8:00 a.m. Depending on the number of competitors, players will be in groups of three or four. 

Competition classes and times:

  • The Club Champion will be determined after playing the full length of the course from the back tees in the men's division.
  • The Women's Club Champion will be played from the blue tees on the Sea Course and from the club tees on the Stone Course.

  • Mid-Am, Men 35+, back Tees on the Stone Course, white Tees on the Sea Course
  • Mid-Am, women 35+, yellow tees on the Stone Course, blue tees on the Sea Course
  • Men's seniors 50+, yellow tees on both courses
  • Women's seniors 50+, red tees on both courses
  • Men's seniors 60+, yellow tees on the Stone Course, blue tees on the Sea Course
  • Women's seniors 60+, red tees on both courses
  • Men's Seniors 65+, Stone Course yellow tees, blue tees on the Sea Course
  • Under 15 boys, yellow tees on both courses
  • Under 15 girls, red tees on both courses


On the final day, immediately after the competition, i.e. approx. 30 minutes after the last players have come in, the award ceremony starts next to the clubhouse in the Klinkberg Summer Venue, where a rich dinner awaits and the band Kolumbus Kris will be performing for your dancing pleasure.

All participants can pay a separate dinner fee for this if bringing a companion to dinner. The top three in all competition classes will receive uniquely designed medals and prizes from Avis. The club champions in the women's and men's classes will also receive a club jacket (if not previously won), a parking space for a year and their name on a plaque. In addition to the usual selection of the best in age groups, there will also be a special prize for the three best women and men who, within two days, have the best HCP stroke play result in all classes.

Participation fee:

€69 for an EGCC member with the right to play the Sea Course
€139 for an EGCC member who does not have the right to play the Sea Course
€49 for U15 juniors
€49 for a dinner companion

The competitor's entry fee also includes up to 100 practice balls during the competition and meals. Detailed rules and other important information can be found in the competition guidelines
