An interesting surprise for many since we reopened the sea course has definitely been our Sea Course 4th and the new pond on the right. In cooperation with our course architect Lassi Pekka Tilander, we did a Sea Course upgrade 2.0 project two years ago, for which we hope to add certain elements over the next 10 years, which, given the age and development of the course, will allow us to be a real "championship" course.

This winter we were able to make a start, where in cooperation with the plot owners by the fourth fairway, an investment was made in the form of a new pond. The funny side is that the hole becomes simpler and quicker for the average player - the ball no longer disappears on the right when it goes there because you can now continue with one penalty from the water. Previously you had to continue with two penalties following the lost ball rule! When playing from the back tees, this hole becomes even more difficult than before - if it used to just be long, now it is quite narrow as well! So, when hitting off the tee, you have to think seriously about how to play the hole.

The Sea Course 2.0 upgrade project is long-term and includes some changes on each hole - be it changing bunkers, adding them, making special levels on the greens, or even moving some water hazards. A more detailed timetable and opportunities and investments in this regard will be clarified later this year.
